Manufacturer of glass and rock mineral wool insulation products
Knauf are the only UK manufacturers of both glass and rock mineral wool insulation products. Knauf glass mineral wool contains up to 80% recycled materials. Their rock mineral wool is increasingly made from recycled materials like slag. Both glass and rock mineral wool use ECOSE technology, a biological based binder to bind the final product.
Heraklith Tektalan A2 SmartTec Panel
Heraklith® Tektalan A2 SmartTec panels are rock mineral wool boards with an additional cement bonded wood wool layer, they can be used for both the acoustic performance and decorative finish of walls and ceilings.
They are non-combustible with a Euroclass A2,s1-d0 reaction to fire classification and can give concrete floors covered with the product a fire resistance of up to 180 minutes.
